GO Meta Platform : Meta Low code development platform, for developers
Low code platforms empower people to build applications with a minimum or no technical knowledge. However, the applications that can be built are limited to the kind of applications a given low code platform was designed for, mainly data driven web applications. And the generated applications are limited to follow the built-in architecture and design.
Generative Objects pioneers the “meta low code” approach, rocketing the versality and power of the original low code approach to a whole new level.
The meta low code approach empowers developers to have full control over the application meta-model and the architecture and design of the generated applications. The application meta-model is the high level, functional language that the low code platform is exposing to non-technical users to create application in a low code way.
Developers can now :
- Enrich and extend the original Generative Objects meta-model and associated generation templates, to extend the low code platform itself to meet their specific needs.

The GO Applications modelled and generated with the GO Platform are already generated as open source, human quality code, with no dependency to the GO Platform. However, the GO Platform was until now private and closed source.
We are very excited to announce our decision to open source our technology and the full GO Platform itself.
Our objective is to widen the impact of the GO Platform, build a community around it and democratize the access to state of the art technology. Anyone should be empowered to make their ideas and dreams come true and have universal, free access to technology.
By doing so, we wish to facilitate any individual or structure of any size to express, build all the technological assets they need to engage people, grow and be impactful.
We believe that a new world, more respectful of all beings and of the environment, not driven by pure profit, will emerge from small structures, much more agile than big corporations, and created from the start by conscious and responsible people, without being strongly linked to the current financial paradigm.
Such a new world will be driven by honesty, transparency, sharing and collective co-construction. It is a world free of raw competition and built on top of trust and natural abundance.
The most obvious and natural decision to follow this path is to open source our technology and start creating a community and co-creating together the future we dream of.

Second French charity
This is a great example of collective co-construction of an application with the objective to share ideas and costs. This project is built in collaboration with APF France handicap and aims at being replicated to other charity organizations who will join the co-creation collective.
